About the event
I'm Chris. I've led an eclectic and blessed life that has helped me see things a little bit differently. I have a background in movement education, space holding, and energy work. I currently have a license (NCLMBT#17381) in bodywork and have a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
The nervous system is a complex thing and responds to stress in different ways. We will talk about the nervous system and emotional regulation a little bit and discuss short term and long term strategies for managing this area. These will include breathing strategies, movements that can help, and discussing building long term practices that can help with resiliency during these trying times.
