Wednesday Afterschool projects and portfolios

This important down time at 1:11's space is for our young teens that have navigated and are needing a place to just "be" together in a loving environment with the makers studio at their disposal. Students will be encouraged to use this time as an opportunity to work on school projects that need presentation materials that stand out and reflect their creativity, or to continue honing their art skills for collaborating portfolio pieces. I will be encouraging this group and gearing them towards "1:11leadership/mentors/and program coordinators" to begin thinking about their potential to lead workshops, create camps, and opportunities for all of our young artists to sell and show their work and talents off. This club lends itself to positive/ healthy identity, and personal growth more so than producing tangible results for display but within creating this environment results happen;)
